Maps

The collection was created in 1963 from a larger museum collection of thematically diverse Czech and German maps from the 20th century, with a few from the late 19th century. Since the 1980s, the collection has been enriched with targeted additions of historical and contemporary plans of Přerov, maps of its surroundings, maps of Moravia and the Czechoslovak/Czech Republic.

Items of the same type are also included in two other collection funds of the museum entitled Historical Cartography and School Maps.

Items are lent to researchers only on a first-come, first-served basis, and the collection documentation is being created gradually.
